The Met Council is hitting the road to connect directly with the communities we serve. This special session of our Committee of the Whole is part of our commitment to listen and learn from you as your communities start the comprehensive planning process that will set the stage for the future of your parks, transportation and water systems.

Join us in Metropolitan Council District 2 for an evening that celebrates collaboration, community, forward-thinking, and planning. Together, we'll explore the partnerships and progress happening in the district and across the North Metro.

What to Expect

  • 4:30 p.m. – An open house to meet and mingle with Met Council Members and staff. Learn more about our work across the region and how we can help build a more inclusive, sustainable 7-county metropolitan area.
  • 5:00 p.m. – Committee Meeting and local civic educator and entertainer Tane Danger will host a dynamic and engaging presentation, featuring Met Council Members, local policymakers, and community voices. This discussion will spotlight how comprehensive planning at the local and regional level drives success and strengthens communities.
