Federal transit administration signs off on Blue Line Extension environmental review
The Blue Line Extension Light Rail Transit project has reached a major milestone with the conclusion of the federal environmental review process. The Federal Transit Administration published an Amended Record of Decision (AROD) following comprehensive review of the project’s environmental findings and proposed strategies to address environmental, economic, and social impacts. This approval follows several years of in-depth environmental studies and community engagement and allows the project to advance to final design phases, funding application, and construction. Read more about the AROD and what it means for the future of the project.
